PSG want Arsene Wenger as director of football

Wenger, who ended a 22-year spell in charge of Arsenal in May, has been enjoying a break from the game.
The French manager is now close to a return to football with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, who are reportedly keen to hire the former Monaco manager as their new director of football.
'RMC' believe that the club's Qatari want Wenger to work alongside current boss Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel has led PSG to nine straight victories in Ligue 1 after taking over from Unai Emery - who replaced Wenger at Arsenal.
It is understood that Tuchel has clashed with sporting director Antero Henrique, with the Parisian club wanting Wenger to bridge the gap between the manager and the boardroom.
Arsene Wenger holds the record for the most Premier League matches managed after a 22-year spell with Arsenal between 1996 and 2018.
The Frenchman has also claimed seven FA Cups - the most of any manager - and was voted Manager of the Year in 1998, 2002 and 2004.
Wenger is also the Premier League’s longest serving manager. He passed Sir Alex Ferguson when he retired at the end of the 2012/13 season and surpassed his record of matches managed in the Premier League during the 2017/18 campaign.
