PSG set to improve bid for Bournemouth's Illia Zabarnyi

Paris Saint-Germain's main task this summer transfer window is to land a top centre-back to reinforce their defence for the start of the 2025/26 season.
The Parisians have had Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi as their main target since June, and have been in negotiations with the Cherries for the player for several weeks.
The Premier League side have been a tough nut to crack in negotiations for the 22-year-old centre-back, although this is to be expected after selling two key defensive figures in Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez to Real Madrid and Liverpool respectively.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Parisians are unwilling to throw in the towel and are set to make an improved offer for the Ukrainian defender, who has made 39 competitive appearances for Bournemouth this season, 38 of which have been starts.
