Problems mount for Atletico as Gimenez injured again

Atletico Madrid's trip to Milan to face Inter ended up costing them dearly. The Spanish side had to overcome several physical setbacks in the form of injury in addition to the defeat.

Antoine Griezmann was one of them because he withdrew in the final stretch of the match and is suffering from a second-degree sprain in his ankle. He is joined by Jose Maria Gimenez, who had just joined the team after overcoming other physical problems, will again be out of action.

The Uruguayan centre-back is suffering from a right thigh injury and was also unable to finish the game against Inter. In fact, he withdrew at the end of the first 45 minutes.
