Premier League giants target rising Olympiacos stars

Mouzakitis, 18, and Kostoulas, 17, are part of an emerging generation of football stars from Greece that has Europe's elite clubs on high alert. Mouzakitis was instrumental in Greece's 3-0 victory over Scotland earlier this month, while Kostoulas has already netted six goals in 21 appearances for Olympiacos in the Greek domestic league, although he is yet to make his senior debut for the national team.
A left-footed central midfielder, Mouzakitis has been compared to Marco Verratti and Luka Modric for his playing style. The teenager made history last November by becoming the youngest player to debut for Greece in a match against Finland.
His journey began as a regular ballboy at Olympiacos' Karaiskakis Stadium, where he witnessed a 1-0 defeat by Manchester City in 2020.
Kostoulas, who operates primarily as a forward but is versatile enough to play in a more creative role or on the wings, is also drawing significant attention. Despite the growing interest, Olympiacos sporting director Darko Kovacevic confirmed that Kostoulas will remain at the club for the current season.
Both players recently signed new contracts with the Greek side, with Mouzakitis extending his deal until 2029 and Kostoulas committing until 2030. Despite the interest from Premier League clubs, they are keen to retain both for at least another year, especially if they qualify for the Champions League.
