Porto are thinking about the present, but also the future. The Portuguese outfit officially announced they had bought Benicio Baker-Boaitey. He is just 16 and they have got him from West Ham.

Signing players before they shine is what every sporting director tries to do. That is what Porto are hoping for with the transfer of Benicio Baker-Boaitey.

The Englishman, just 16, was one of the stars from the West Ham academy. Teams like Bayern Munich, Barcelona and RB Leipzig were following him, but finally he has ended up in northern Portugal.

Benicio Baker-Boaitey will join the Porto youth team and hope to break into the senior team in the coming seasons.
