Paul Pogba had a nightmare of a return to action last night against Cremonese. The Frenchman started for the first time this season, before being forced off through injury after just 20 minutes of play.
The midfielder seemed hurt in his left thigh, and left his teammates on 22 minutes, replaced by Arkadiusz Milik. The fact he hadn't started a match since April 2022 meant he was forced to tears.
This morning, the 30 year old underwent some tests which revealed he is suffering from "low-grade lesion of the rectus femoris of the left thigh", the club said in an official statement.
"The footballer has already started his rehabilitation programme", Juve were keen to announced, while it is expected that Pogba won't feature in another game this season.
This news comes at the worst time for the Italian giants, as they're set to face Sevilla in the second leg of the Europa League semi-finals, and it looks likely they'll be without the once World Cup winner.
