Pochettino favourite to replace Ancelotti

It's no secret that Carlo Ancelotti is the Brazil national side's target. The confederation's President, in an interview with 'Reuters', made it clear that he's the man that the fans are asking for the most. This would leave the question of is Real Madrid successor open, but it seems that answer has already been taken care of. Just like several times in the past, Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with the role, this time by 'TyC Sports'.
The source recently reported that the ex-Paris Saint-Germain manager is the Madrid side President's favourite. It's nothing strange, as this is not the first or second time that he's been linked with the job. He would take on the job ahead of next season or during the summer, whenever his predecessor goes to Brazil.
The Argentine has a lot of experience in the best leagues, but his spell at PSG is the main stint which comes to mind. In Spain, he'd be taking up a similar role, with several of the world's best players and an interesting mission of progressing with stars such as Vinicius, Rodrygo, Camavinga and Tchouameni.
If Pochettino ends up being confirmed as new Real Madrid manager, it'll be his second spell as a manager in Spain. The first one was with Espanyol in his first years at the top level. After that followed a stint in the Premier League at Southampton before he got whisked off to Tottenham.
