Philippe Coutinho's injury curse continues

Philippe Coutinho has had a complicated start to the season. The Brazilian, who is not part of Unai Emery's plans, suffered a serious injury on Sunday.

During Aston Villa's 4-0 win over Everton in the Premier League, the former Barcelona man came on as a 63rd-minute substitute, but 20 minutes later he picked up an injury.

He lay on the ground for several minutes, showing clear signs of pain, and had to be helped off the pitch by the technical staff, close to tears. 

This is a real blow for the Brazilian midfielder, in the wake of rumours of his departure to the Gulf States (Qatar, Saudi Arabia). Coutinho's career has been marked by too many injuries over the years.
