Palace release experienced trio

The 'Eagles' had a host of players due to run out of contract this summer, though Yohan Cabaye, Bakary Sako, Julian Speroni and Joel Ward have all been offered fresh terms.

Delaney was the longest-serving player of those to be released, having spent six years at Selhurst Park and making 193 appearances for the club, but he will now return to his homeland to join Cork City in Ireland.

Cavalieri leaves having failed to make an appearance for the club after signing on a short-term deal to provide goalkeeping cover back in March.

Finally, South Korea international Lee departs after slipping down the pecking order in recent years, despite making a half century of appearances for the club since joining from Bolton in 2014.

Along with the trio, development squad players Andre Coker, Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong and Victor Fundi were also released, along with Andrew Demby, Matthew Funnell, Kyle Lynch, Brandon Oddy, Tariq Ossai, Will Ozono and Jordan Serrato from the U18s.
