Palace and Tottenham fight for Ronnie Edwards

The 'Daily Mail has confirmed that Tottenham and Crystal Palace have spotted the opportunity to sign Peterborough United striker Ronnie Edwards.

The 19-year-old has already attracted the attention of two top Premier League sides, making 54 appearances for Grant McCann's side and having played eight times with England Under-19. 

Despite his team's eleventh place in the Championship, Edwards has established himself as one of the most promising defenders for the future. He is contracted to his current club until the summer of 2025.

Tottenham already wanted him in the winter transfer window, but in the end it was not possible. Now a rival has emerged. Patrick Vieira, the Crystal Palace manager, will fight for the defender, who, according to the aforementioned media, is valued at around 18 million euros.
