Ozil could return to Premier League thanks to Newcastle

Mesut Ozil's adventure in Turkey is being worse than what he expected. After his departure from Arsenal, the attacking midfielder decided to join Fenerbahce to continue with his career, but he has been inconsistent with his performances. 

Last year, his side came within two points of winning the Turkish league as Galatasaray and league winners Besiktas both got 84 points. After coming on as a sub in several matches, the former Real Madrid man got upset and there is now talk of where he could move to. 

Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur reports that Newcastle, who have just been taken over by a Saudi Arabia consortium, are after the player. The Magpies have reportedly got their eyes on the player who is incredibly experienced. It would be his return to English football. 

The arrival of the Saudi investment fund means that money is no longer an issue for the black and whites. The arrival of the former Gunner would make major headlines in the media. It would bolster Newcastle's attack. The Tynesiders are currently in the relegation zone in the Premier League.
