With 94 caps to his name, goalkeeper Yann Sommer has confirmed that he is retiring from the Swiss national team. This summer, he was a starter at the European Championship in Germany, where he reached the quarter-finals. He still has two seasons left on his contract with Inter Milan, where he is a first-choice keeper, so he will be able to focus on his duties in Italy at the age of 35.
