OFFICIAL: Rudy signs for Schalke

The midfielder will move to Gelsenkirchen for a rumored €16 million having failed to make an impression on the Bayern first team.

Rudy joined Bayern Munich on a free transfer from Hoffenheim in 2017 and made 25 appearances in Bayern's Bundesliga winning season.

Rudy is primarily a central defensive midfielder, however can also play at right-back.

Rudy, who has been capped 25 times by the German national team, has signed a four-year deal at the Veltnis Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
