OFFICIAL: Real Madrid loan Vallejo to Granada

Jesus Vallejo returns to Granada. The Spaniard leaves Real Madrid and the Santiago Bernabeu on loan, looking for minutes in Andalusia.

Vallejo played for Granada in 2020-21, and half of the season before. He then returned to Madrid, but the overflow of talented central defenders has meant that he made just four appearances last season.

In Granada however, he played a total of 51 games, including Europa League fixtures. Once the loan was over he returned to the Santiago Bernabeu.

"The club welcomes Jesus Vallejo as a new Granada CF player, and also wishes him the best for his new stay with the 'rojiblanca' club", wrote Granada in their statement.
