OFFICIAL: PSG-Istanbul abandoned due to alleged racist insult by fourth official

There was trouble in the Champions League match between PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir. The match was suspended in the early stages of the first half, with players in their changing rooms and all that that entails, because of a possible racist insult from the fourth official to the visiting player Demba Ba.
His team's players accused the Romanian referee, Coltrenu, of referring to the player as "the black guy". This infuriated the striker, who was on the bench and was very difficult to calm down. Some members of the security staff approached him to try to stop him from jumping on the field - they did not succeed.
But the outrage was not only his. Other members of the Turkish team discussed for a long time with the various referees. His rivals were also in the corridor that was set up, in which some were accusing, others were looking for culprits and others were trying to find out what had happened.
In what context did this possible racist insult happen? When the fourth referee was supposedly trying to identify Demba Ba According to the player, he did so by saying "the black guy". The footballer told him that when he refers to a white player, he does not call him "the white guy".
Despite a scheduled restart time of 22:00 CET, the match ended up being abandoned. The game will resume in the 14th minute on Thursday at 18:55 CET with a new set of officials. PSG need to win to take top spot off Leipzig.
