OFFICIAL: Piatek moves to Hertha Berlin

Krzysztof Piatek is no longer an AC Milan player. The powerful Polish striker moves from Lombardy to the German capital to play for Hertha Berlin. One of the most surprising moves of the January transfer window.
"With Krzysztof we have an attack with lots of talent, who is almost impressive in front of goal, both in Serie A and for the national team. Because of him we have even more quality in attack," Michael Preetz said.
The surprising decision of Piatek to leave AC Milan comes after the signing of Ibrahimovic for the Rossoneri. The Swede left the Pole without a place in the starting XI so Piatek decided to leave.
Piatek arrived at AC Milan in January 2019. He was the main signing for Milan. However, he leavs after just one year.
Hertha Berlin have apparently paid 27 million euros for the striker. Piatek will wear the number 7 shirt at his new club.
