OFFICIAL: Pape Gueye to move to Watford in July

Who says that the transfer market is quiet? Despite there being no football, transfer business continues. Watford have announced that Pape Gueye will join the club from Ligue 2 side Le Havre in July. He is the Hornets' first signing for the 2020-21 season and one of the first to be made in the Premier League.
The Premier League outfit probably announced it now given that French Football has now been officially ended. The defensive midfielder's contract was ending at the end of this season. That is why the English outfit made clear that he will link up with his new teammates from 1st July.
Gueye, 21, has signed a five and a half year deal and Watford are "delighted" to get a player who was also wanted by the likes of Arsenal and Sevilla.
He is a French international at Under 18 and Under 19 level and he has given two assists in 26 appearances this season.
