OFFICIAL: Man City snap up PSG starlet Gomes

The youngster joins City after turning 18 on Monday, meaning he could finally sign professional terms with the club.

Gomes is very highly rated in his native France and currently captains France's U18 side.

The 18-year-old made five appearances for PSG's U23 side in the UEFA Youth League last season.

Writing on their official website City described Gomes as: "Quick, strong and an excellent tackler with great vision and energy."

Gomes has now flown out to the USA to link up with City's first team squad and is in contention to feature in their International Champions Cup clashes against Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
