OFFICIAL: Leeds sack Jesse Marsch

Leeds United announced on Monday that they have sacked manager Jesse Marsch, who had the team on the brink of the relegation zone without a single league victory since the start of November.
The English club ended their relationship with the American after Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest. Even though they have still not named a possible replacement, the 'Daily Mail' claimed that Carlos Corberan is the best placed for the job.
Leeds are 17th with 18 points, the same as Everton, and are just one place outside the relegation zone. Despite not being in the bottom three, Leeds' form is very bad, with six losses in their last eight games. Their last win was on 5th November against Bournemouth, who are second-last in the Premier League.
Marsch arrived at Leeds in February 2022, replacing Marcelo Bielsa at the helm of the Whites. He signed a three and a half year contract and managed to keep the side up in his first season at the last moment. Leeds started the season's last matchday in the relegation zone and stayed up after beating Brentford away from home.
