OFFICIAL: Fenerbahce announce Al Nassr striker Jhon Duran

Jose Mourinho has a new weapon for his attack. Fenerbahce announced on Sunday an agreement with Al-Nassr for the loan of Jhon Duran for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Just five months after the Saudis paid 77 million euros for him, the striker temporarily leaves Arabia. Duran started last season as a revelation for Champions League side Aston Villa, but the temptation was too great and he was transferred in the last hours of the winter transfer window.
In Al-Nassr he fulfilled his dream of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. He started well and completed the second half of the season scoring 12 goals in 18 games, but the numbers outweighed the sensations, which decreased until he suffered a major crisis in the final stretch. In fact, he was not called up by his national team for the last international window.
The Saudi media claimed that Duran had asked to leave citing a lack of adaptation and that his intention was to return to Europe. The call from Jose Mourinho was key in convincing the Colombian striker that Fenerbahce was the right place for him.
For their part, the Turks will not have to pay for the striker's very high fee of ten million euros. Fenerbahce have no option to buy, so Jhon Jader Duran will return to Al-Nassr after the 2026 World Cup.
