OFFICIAL: Billy Arce signs for Brighton

The 20-year-old winger has signed for the 'Seagulls' for an undisclosed fee, though will spend the coming season on loan to Spanish side Extremadura UD. 

Brighton's pathway development manager spoke about the signing, saying: "He is an exciting young player with very good potential.

"We will monitor his progress over the course of the season during his time with Extremadura UD, and we hope the loan move will enable him to continue his development here in Europe."

Arce scored 7 goals over 22 games for Independiente this season in the Ecuadorian top flight.
