OFFICIAL: Bellingham awarded Golden Boy trophy for 2023

In a matter of 17 days, Jude Bellingham has picked up two individual awards recognising his performance as one of the best players in the world and the best player under 21. The 20-year-old has impressed all of Europe with his performances for Borussia Dortmund, which led to him currently playing for Real Madrid.
'Tuttosport', who organise the Golden Boy awards dedicated to European club players under 21, announced on Friday that the England midfielder has won the 2023 trophy. Barcelona star Gavi won the same trophy last season.
If 2023 is taken as the calendar year, Bellingham made 45 appearances with 33 wins, six draws and six defeats. He scored 21 goals, two of them from penalties, and provided nine assists. He saw ten yellow cards and was only replaced 15 times.
His best form in front of goal came after his arrival at Real Madrid, when he scored in four consecutive matches - against Athletic, Almería, Celta Vigo and Getafe in La Liga.
