Arsenal have started the season in style. Four games and four wins for Mikel Arteta's team. The London side had a very difficult game against Fulham but finally managed to come from behind to secure their first place in the Premier League standings.
During the first half Arsenal kept possession of the ball and Fulham struggled to connect several passes. The Gunners managed to create a few chances but it was not enough to score the first goal of the game.
One of them was that Martinelli came close to scoring an Olimpico goal after he took a corner and the ball hit the crossbar. Xhaka also came close to scoring after receiving the ball inside the box from a Gabriel Jesus pass, but the midfielder's shot went wide.
The second half did not start in the best way for Arsenal. The Cottagers managed to take the lead in the 55th minute after a big mistake from Magalhaes. Striker Mitrovic stole the ball from him of the ball as the centre-back tried to get the ball out and beat Ramsdale with a shot across goal to give Fulham the lead.
However, the Gunners did not give up. Just eight minutes after Mitrovic's goal, the home side managed to score the equaliser. Odegaard received the ball on the edge of the box and the Norwegian's shot bounced off Adarabioyo and went into the net at the near post.
Arsenal put the icing on the cake by scoring the goal that sealed the comeback. In the 85th minute, Martinelli took the corner and Leno tried to clear the ball but failed to do so and the rebound was picked up by Magalhaes who pushed the ball into the net.
