Nunez and Jones break silence after penalty misses in Liverpool UCL exit

Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones' crucial penalty misses at Anfield saw Liverpool crash out of the Champions League last 16, with Paris Saint-Germain making no mistake with their spot-kicks to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.
After a day to digest the painful defeat, the duo have broken their silence, sending a message to Reds supporters via their social media platform. "Get up and carry on, as always," Nunez wrote after his attempt from 12 yards was saved by PSG's Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Meanwhile Jones, whose penalty was also saved by the Italian goalkeeper, posted: "Stepping up and trying to help the team in every moment I can is the type of person that I am. This comes with risk and failing, last night I got a taste of that!"
Like Nunez, the English midifelder is also ready to turn pages, especially with a Carabao Cup final coming up at the weekend against Newcastle United. "I can live with missing but I can't live without taking the responsibility. 10 to go. Starting with a cup final Sunday!," he concluded.
