"Nico Williams? I don't care"

Jude Bellingham, speaking ahead of Real Madrid's Club World Cup quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund, highlighted the German side's attacking threats.
"They're a dynamic team with pace and power. They have quality players who seek to control the midfield," said the Real Madrid midfielder, who played for Dortmund between 2020 and 2023.
However, Bellingham expressed his confidence in reaching the semi-finals, stressing the importance of the match for 'Los Blancos' after what he called a 'weak' season.
"It's crucial because it was a poor season for us; we won some titles, but not the ones Real Madrid demands. This presents a significant opportunity to secure another trophy," Jude Bellingham stated.
Bellingham was also asked about Nico Williams' contract renewal amid reported interest from Barcelona. "Nico Williams rejecting Barca? It's not Real Madrid news, so I don't care."
He also admitted to speaking with his brother, Jobe, who recently signed for Borussia Dortmund, and that Jobe was unaware of the rule that led to his suspension after receiving a yellow card against Monterrey, preventing him from facing Jude Bellingham. FIFA regulations stipulate that a second yellow card – even across two different matches – results in a one-match suspension in this tournament.
Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, who will face the winner of PSG versus Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, will replay this Saturday's 2023-2024 Champions League final, where the Spanish side claimed their latest title with a 2-0 victory.
With a capacity of 82,500, MetLife Stadium will host this Real Madrid versus Borussia Dortmund clash, kicking off at 16:00 local time (20:00 GMT and 22:00 in Spain), with Brazilian referee Ramon Abatti officiating.
