Neymar tells PSG he wants to leave

Neymar contacted the Paris Saint-Germain board on Sunday to tell them he wants to leave the Parc des Princes, according to 'L'Equipe'. The Brazilian's current contract expires in 2027 and just four days ago, he stood out with his performances in the pre-season friendly against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

This is another headache for the board. Luis Enrique could lose two important players from his squad as Kylian Mbappe's future is also uncertain. In fact, according to several reports in Spain, the coach reportedly reconsidered leaving France due to the club's recent instability.

The same French media outlet reports that the striker is considering his departure due to the demonstration of ultras in front of his house that took place in May. He does not understand the criticism of the fans after having fought for his team for the last six seasons.

As a result, Neymar has already been linked with several new destinations. The 31-year-old is expected to return to Barcelona, where he had some of the best moments of his career. Moreover, Xavi Hernandez is willing to sign the Brazilian.
