Barely 24 hours have passed since Neymar suffered a serious injury in a friendly against Qatar, and the Brazilian has now uploaded a picture of his injured ankle looking worse for wear on Instagram.

After suffering an ankle injury in a friendly against Qatar, Neymar is set to miss the Copa America which starts a week today.

Brazil's talisman lasted just 15 minutes of the encounter before injuring the right ankle that has given him so much trouble over the past couple of seasons.

The injury came after Neymar has skipped past a lunging tackle from a defender, but the forward rolled his ankle and later had to leave the stadium on crutches, with the Brazilian Football Federation revealing that he would miss the Copa America with ligament damage.

The PSG attacker used his Instagram account to show his followers the state of his injured ankle after the game with a shocking photo, captioned "After the storm comes the calm".

Now, Neymar must rest up and worry about his off field problems before PSG start their season in August.
