Newcastle thinking of Gabigol to bolster attack

The January transfer window could be a great opportunity for Newcastle to form a great team with new signings and good players using the Saudi money. The Magpies are now studying the market and their attack is a part of the pitch they want to strengthen. 

According to a report in the 'Daily Mirror', the English side have reportedly been looking in Brazil and they are interested in buying Gabriel Barbosa from Flamengo. The Brazilian striker was one of the standout players in the past Brasileirao season thanks to his 34 goals. He could help Eddie Howe's men get out of the relegation zone.

Gabigol is really wanted by the Tyneside club and they now know his price. The loan deal for the remaining six months of the season would see them have to buy the player for 20 million euros afterwards. That is an affordable amount for the new Newcastle owners and the richest club in the world. 

The 1-1 draw against Man Utd was a huge boost for a club that need to start winning if they are to climb out of the relegation zone. They have just 11 points and they are looking to build a more competitive team for the rest of the campaign.
