New offer for Lo Celso as agreement with Tottenham moves closer

Unai Emery wants to have Lo Celso in the squad. The Argentine is Villarreal main target this summer, but Tottenham are not making his return easy.
'Marca' reports that Villarreal have launched a proposal of a loan deal with a compulsory purchase clause in June for around 15 million euros. Now, they are waiting for a response from Spurs.
Tottenham paid Betis 30 million euros back in the day and they do not want to get rid of the Argentinian international so easily. There was talk of the key amount being 20 million, but it could be less.
Lo Celso's insistence is important to make the deal be successful. The former Betis man wants to play at La Ceramica after his last good experience in La Liga, especially in the Champions League.
Nevertheless, the sporting director is working to let some players who are surplus to requirements leave and, therefore, reduce the wage bill. Paco Alcacer, Estupinan and Dia are on the way out.
