Neither Valencia nor City: Rugani to go out on loan to Rennes

Valencia had asked Juventus about Rugani. Man City also did the same. Both clubs showed lots of interest in the central defender.

But neither of the two with end up with the defender. Juve have sent him out on loan to Rennes.

Rugani travelled to France this Saturday morning. He did so together with his wife and a Juventus board member.

According to the journalist Benjamin Isaac, he arrived on a private plane from Turin. He arrived at Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande airport.

Rugani will have a medical at Rennes and, if all goes well, he will then sign a contract with the club.
