According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Borussia Dortmund could announce Ivan Fresneda's signing in the next few hours. The German club will pay 20 million euros for him and the right-back will play until 2028 at Signal Iduna Park.

Borussia Dortmund are already working to strengthen their squad despite their recent flop in the Bundesliga title race. The German side want to bolster their defence as soon as possible.

As a result, they have decided to sign one of the surprise packages of La Liga as Ivan Fresneda is very close to playing at Signal Iduna Park next season.

The right-back is in the spotlight thanks to his performances and several European clubs such as Manchester United and Arsenal were interested in signing him to reinforce their defence.

Nonetheless, according to journalist Nicolo Schira, Terzic's side have already reached an agreement with the Spaniard to sign him until 2028 and will pay 20 million euros for his transfer.

The same media outlet reports that Dortmund could announce their new signing in the next few hours.
