Negotiations on Wijnaldum's arrival at Roma in the final stages

Georginio Wijnaldum is very close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain, as Fabrizio Romano reports that he is waiting to sign for AS Roma on loan and is preparing the necessary paperwork. 

This market move is not as simple as it may seem at first glance, as the departure of the Dutchman means that the Parisians are in the ideal situation to close the deal that would bring Renato Sanches to the French capital.

In Wijnaldum's loan deal, a clause can be found that indicates a compulsory buyout clause worth ten million for AS Roma, in case he plays more than 50% of the official matches, according to 'Corriere dello Sport'.

The Dutchman's departure from Paris Saint-Germain has been inevitably coming closer to reality as events unfold, with Wijnaldum being left out of the squad for the French Super Cup.
