Napoli weigh up Grealish vs Garnacho in £45m transfer dilemma

With a budget of around £45 million allocated for the deal, Napoli are weighing up whether to pursue Grealish, 29, or the much younger Garnacho, 20.
While the Englishman is believed to be the preferred choice, his age and wages may sway the Serie A club towards investing in the long-term potential of the Argentine winger.
Manchester United have reportedly slapped a hefty £70 million price tag on Garnacho, despite the player falling out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim, who advised him to seek a move following his peripheral role in the Europa League final loss to Tottenham.
So far, no formal bids have been lodged for the young winger, and Chelsea—once keen—have cooled their interest. On the other side of Manchester, City appear far more open to negotiating, with Pep Guardiola's side prepared to take a significant financial hit on the 29-year-old.
Sources suggest Napoli would welcome the opportunity to reunite Grealish with City icon Kevin De Bruyne, who recently committed to a two-year contract.
While Garnacho is understood to prefer staying in England, the Italians' growing interest and United's firm stance on the fee could complicate matters. With both Manchester clubs under pressure to resolve their unsettled wide options, the Italian champions may ultimately hold the stronger hand.
