Napoli reject Galatasaray's €50m Osimhen bid

Following a season-long loan, Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray SK are eager to continue their partnership. However, turning the Nigerian's move to the Turkish club into a permanent deal won't be straightforward, as Napoli are notoriously difficult to negotiate with. Despite ongoing discussions, an agreement remains elusive.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Aurelio De Laurentiis has turned down an initial formal offer from Galatasaray SK. The bid was reportedly worth €50 million, with a further €5 million in potential add-ons for the striker, who played a pivotal role in their league title triumph.
After a turbulent summer, Osimhen joined Galatasaray SK on loan without an option to buy, where he has since plundered an impressive 37 goals in 41 appearances. It marks the most prolific season of his career. The Nigerian has settled in well and is keen to stay.
Indeed, around a month ago, the 26-year-old forward rejected a move to Al-Hilal, who offered him €26 million per season plus bonuses, according to 'Al-Za'eem'. Nevertheless, the Saudi club's interest remains steadfast.
Fabrizio further added that Al-Hilal appear willing to trigger Osimhen's release clause, which is set at around €75 million. The player's current desire is to remain at Galatasaray SK, but the Turkish side must first convince Napoli in a deal that could become complicated.
