"My dream is to be like Messi and play for Barcelona"

Estevao Willian is one of the great promises of Brazilian football. At just 15 years of age, the Palmeiras player has generated good feelings in Brazilian football and some have even compared him to Lionel Messi, to the point that he has been nicknamed 'Messinho'.
Without going any further, the young player was excited about the possibility of playing for Barcelona and making history at the Catalan club just like the Argentinian: "I like Messi a lot, he is a great player for me and I hope I can follow his example".
"The name Messinho came about because of the comparison, because I always try to keep the ball on my foot. He's certainly someone I've been inspired by, since I was a kid I've dreamed of being like him. Whenever I could I used to watch him play and Barça matches and I have always tried to look at what he did", said the youngster, in an interview with 'Mundo Deportivo'.
However, Estevao acknowledged that he would like to be called by his name: "Yes, I prefer to be called Estevao Willian because it's my name, I'm going to try to make it big because God gave me qualities and that's what I'm going to try to do".
"My dream would be to go to Europe and play for Barcelona, which is my childhood dream. My childhood dream is to one day play for Barça and at Camp Nou. But now I'm thinking about becoming a professional with Palmeiras, which is the team of my childhood," said Willian.
