Murray milestone enough to see off Wolves

Striker Murray had been a doubt to even feature against Wolves, due to suffering concussion in a nasty clash of heads at Newcastle last weekend. Yet Murray made a miraculous return to the side, turning in Bruno's scuffed shot just after half time to mark a milestone in both his career and the history of his club.
The strike saw Brighton win their third consecutive top flight game for the first time since 1981, but the victory wasn't wholly deserved, as visitors Wolves controlled the majority of the match and were desperately unlucky to fall to back to back defeats.
Murray's strike helped him to reach the 100 mark for Brighton; a great return for the 35 year old, who so far this campaign has notched 6 goals in 10 games, only one behind the league top scorer Eden Hazard.
The Bournemouth born poacher has scored an incredible 40% of Brighton's goals since their return to the Premier League, and has scored in three of their four wins this season.
Murray's manager Chris Hughton had vast amounts of praise for the veteran after the game, saying: "Glenn Murray is a poacher, when the ball comes his way you are confident it will end up in the net. He has a great desire to keep on playing.
He continued:"I am delighted, we had to really earn it against a very good side. They threatened a lot and we had to defend really well. It was hard-earned. Wolves will have a good season. We are realists, we know how tough this competition is. But we are in a confident mood."
In contrast, it was a miserable day for Wolves and their manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who fell to defeat for the second game running at the AMEX stadium.
The Wolves boss was more impressed with his side's display on Saturday than he had been last time out, but it did not stop him from lamenting the fact that his side conceded a goal from their opponent's only shot on target.
Nuno made changes to the Wolves starting lineup for the first time this season, bringing in the pacey Adama Traore for Diogo Jota in a bid to shake his side into action. However no matter how well they performed, they ultimately wouldn't take anything from the match.
The Portuguese spoke of his disappointment after the game, exclaiming: "All the game we were trying to win, we had many chances and we conceded the only chance they had - that disappoints me. It is a moment that requires focus. From a throw-in you cannot concede a goal. The result was not for us but the performance was good."
He concluded: "We did enough to deserve a different result, we bounced back from the last game. We must be optimistic."
