Modric dreams of ending his career at Real Madrid

Luka Modric is like fine wine, improving with age. At 39 years old, heading towards 40, the Croatian midfielder is still not ready to retire and keeps delivering masterclasses, like the one he put on against France.
The midfielder spoke to Telefoot in an interview that has not yet been fully released. In the preview, Modric expressed his love for Real Madrid, the club where he wants to end his career...in the medium term.
"Right now, I'm not thinking about retiring. But as I've always said, I would like to retire at Real Madrid, it would be a dream for me. We'll see what happens," said the Croatian on French television.
"There's still a lot of season left, and I want to focus on what's ahead because there are many games left. Let's see what happens, I'm in no rush," he added regarding his retirement.
Modric was the star of Croatia in the first leg of the Nations League quarter-finals against France. The Balkan team now has to defend the 2-0 lead they secured at home.
