Miss of the season? Elche hit crossbar from two yards out v Real Madrid!

We are talking about possibly one of the misses of the season. Carrillo had a very clear chance to score on an excellent counter by Elche, but the home fans ended up putting their hands on their head.

The play started in Elche's own half and Diego Gonzalez sent a long ball forward over the Real Madrid defence. Josan caught Marcelo unawares and Marcelo failed to clear.

The Elche man squared for Carrillo, but the Colombian somehow struck the crossbar. Everyone at the Martinez Valero had their hands on their head.

Elche had a good opening half an hour against Real Madrid. However, they wasted opportunities including Carrillo's miss which was an absolute sitter.
