Milan reject Walker option; Man City consider Livramento for defence

AC Milan will not exercise their €5m option to buy Kyle Walker, who will return to Manchester City at the end of the season, according to Calciomercato's Daniele Longo.
Against all odds, the England international's spell at the San Siro will come to an end after 15 appearances without goals or assists.
Walker's performance has not convinced the Milan management, who are looking to rejuvenate their squad and go for younger profiles at right-back.
The salary of 4.5 million euros and the contract until 2027 have not facilitated his continuity in Italy. In that position, the Rossoneri have alternatives such as Florenzi, Calabria, Alex Jimenez or Emerson Royal.
For their part, Manchester City are already working on planning for next season and are considering Tino Livramento as one of the options to reinforce the right-back position.
According to sources close to the club, there is a shortlist of four candidates for the position and a decision will be made before the Club World Cup. Kyle Walker will 100% leave the club, even if AC Milan won't buy him.
