"Messi and I went to talk to Neymar and told him: 'If you want to win everything, stay"

Luis Suarez lived a fantastic period at Barcelona alongside Messi and Neymar. The Uruguayan was part of the now historic 'MSN', a more than lethal trident that wreaked havoc on any opposing defence. Eventually, the three went their separate ways until the Argentine and the Brazilian joined PSG.
For his part, the Uruguayan left for Gremio and recently gave an interview to the magazine 'Placar', in which he recalled those moments with his former teammates: "For us, Messi was the best in the world and for me, Neymar was the second best. They helped me win the Golden Boot and I will always be grateful. It's further proof that three stars together can play in the same team with the aim of winning for the team, not individually. And I think that's what made us better and good team-mates".
On the other hand, the Uruguayan recalled the moment when he arrived at the 'Cules': "I told them both that I was coming to win, to triumph and to achieve important things. It wasn't enough for me to argue with Neymar about who would take penalties, nor was I going to dispute with Messi about taking free-kicks. Off the pitch, when we got together to drink mate (Neymar didn't) he came to sit down and we talked about all sorts of things".
Finally, Luis Suarez was convinced that the Brazilian would have won the Ballon d'Or if he had stayed at Barcelona: "If Neymar had stayed at Barcelona, he would have won a Ballon d'Or for sure".
