Mendy refuses to earn half of Kepa's salary

Chelsea player Edouard Mendy is very annoyed with the West London club's board. His departure from the British club could be closer than what it seems, according to 'The Sun'.
The goalkeeper wants to renew and the club have made him a formal offer for that. Nevertheless, the Senegalese turned it down, given that he considered it ridiculous and disrespectful. Since that moment, the club have invited him to leave.
The problem is that the goalkeeper earns half what Kepa Arrizabalaga gets and he thinks that he should receive a similar salary to the Spaniard. Chelsea will not increase his salary by as much as the goalkeeper wants them to.
Given the difficult situaition involvig the goalkeeper and the West London club, Monaco and AC Milan are keeping a very close eye on him as they are trying to get the player. This circumstance could benefit Kepa and allow him to play more regularly.
