Mendy has operation on fractured finger

Chelsea will not be able to count on Edouard Mendy in the coming days. The Senegalese goalkeeper is out after having to have surgery. 

Chelsea are suffering a ton of injuries. In the match against Man City, which also ended in a Chelsea loss, Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic ended up with injuries.

Mendy has had to have surgery on his finger which he fractured in training at the beginning of the week. This Saturday, Chelsea have confirmed that he has had an operation. 

Chelsea did not announce how long he will be out for, but Mendy "will work closely with the club's medical department during his rehabilitation phase."
