Mbappe broke the deadlock against Russia

Neither the game nor the goal will last too long in many people's memories, but for the 19-year-old any goal for his country is worth its weight in gold.

After Russia gave the ball away France punished them with ease.

Paul Pogba slipped in Mbappe with a fine pass and the youngster did the rest, cutting inside his man before firing past Stanislav Lunev in the home goal.

The 'keeper arguably should have done better but Mbappe certainly didn't look like he minded too much.
