Maresca warns Chelsea of potential “bad surprises” against ES Tunis

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has warned his side against the possibility of a ‘bad surprise’ in Wednesday's key Club World Cup match against ES Tunis.
The match, which takes place at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, will be decisive in determining a place in the next round of the international tournament.
Chelsea need only avoid defeat to secure a place in the last 16. Tunisian champions ES Tunis could eliminate the Blues if they win, something Maresca believes is perfectly possible in modern football.
The Italian coach has also highlighted the factor of the high temperatures in Pennsylvania, which adds an extra difficulty for his team.
At a pre-match press conference he said: "In this moment, the focus is on the game. Football is full of surprises - bad surprises - so we need to be ready for the game tomorrow and win the game."
The manager recalled the demands of managing or playing for Chelsea, where any negative result generates headlines and criticism.
"'When you are the Chelsea manager or a Chelsea player, any game you don't win is a headline. We are used to that. Tomorrow is a game where we have to do the right things to go through to the next stage and we will need to give our best,'" he added.
