Maradona grants wish for boy born without legs to play with his hero

Ali Tuganbekov was born without both legs, and had previously sent a video message to the legendary player in the hopes of one day meeting his hero.

In the club, Tuganbekov said: ''Hello my name is Ali. I like to play football, I want to meet Diego Maradona...please!'' 

Maradona, who currently manages United Arab Emirates club Al-Fujairah SC, was moved by the message, and invited the young footballer to join in a training session.

The former World Cup winner spent the afternoon firing strikes at the youngster who proved an admirable goalkeeper.

Afterwards, Maradona presented Tuganbekov with signed shirt, before posting the encounter on social media later with the caption: ''I played football with my friend Ali, who came to meet me in Fujairah, UAE. Thank you for your example of resilience Ali, your friend Diego.''
