Manchester City could ‘see something’ in Morgan Rogers, says Guardiola

Manchester City host Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Matchday 34 of the Premier League in what could be a key game for both teams in terms of Champions League qualification.
The Sky Blues sit fifth on 58 points while the Villans are seventh, one point behind the Mancunians, so a win against a direct rival for qualification with so few games left in the season could be lethal.
Unai Emery's side will be able to count on the in-form Morgan Rogers to try and beat the Cityzens, something Pep Guardiola, who praised the player in the build-up to the game, is keeping an eye on as the Villans playmaker spent time playing for Manchester City's second team.
"Morgan Rogers was in Man City second team and trained sometimes with us," he told reporters. "The glimpse, we could see something, he could do it. But the impact that has been at Villa has been… What a player! We had an exceptional player here, absolutely," he concluded.
