Man Utd’s Martinez unmoved by Napoli links, focused on Old Trafford

Lisandro Martinez has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Manchester United this summer, despite interest from Napoli.

The Argentine defender, currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, hopes to return to pre-season training and return to the first team in September.

The Italian club had considered Martinez as a possible addition, taking advantage of the fact that financially troubled United are open to selling players in this market.

However, the 27-year-old is determined to stay at Old Trafford and succeed under Ruben Amorim, even if other Champions League sides show interest.

Martinez has a good relationship with United's manager and is considered one of the leaders in the dressing room.
