Man Utd, Arsenal, and Tottenham set for summer race to sign Sesko

Premier League teams are showing a lot of interest in Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig in advance of the summer transfer window. According to reports, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all considering hiring the striker.

The Slovenian international is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe, with a contract that includes a release clause worth 80 million euros at the end of the current campaign. Sesko has been in fine form this season, with 17 goals and five assists in 34 appearances in all competitions. 

Teammate Yussuf Poulsen has called him "the best striker" he has ever played with, comparing his physicality and finishing to some of the Bundesliga's top strikers. Manchester United need reinforcements in attack, as Rasmus Hojlund has gone 18 games without scoring and Joshua Zirkzee is moving back into midfield. 

However, he faces stiff competition from the Gunners and Spurs, who are also keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old striker's situation.The release clause in Sesko's contract is linked to games played and goals scored, ensuring his value reflects his development.

Chelsea have also been linked with the striker as Nicolas Jackson was injured, Manchester City do not appear interested in joining the race. Should United prioritise Sesko this summer, it would be their third attempt to sign him after failed bids for 2022 and 2024, another option for Amorim's side would also be Gyokeres.
