Man United demanded to get rid of De Gea 'quickly'

It has been an up and down season if you are a Manchester United fan, with the side finishing third in the league, winning the Carabao Cup, getting to the FA Cup final, but also falling to embarassing defeats like Liverpool 7-0 and Brentford4-0.
In the midst of the Red Devils' win against Fulham on the last day of the season, goalkeeper David De Gea was awarded the Golden Glove, to recognise the 17 clean sheets he has kept in the English top flight in the 2022-23.
However, whilst the team were celebrating the Spaniard's success, ex-United man Roy Keane was very critical. The ex-defender said to 'Sky Sports' that Man Utd should "move him on quickly. He wouldn’t be for me, he’s not going to get Manchester United back winning trophies, absolutely not".
He then went on to say how ‘The idea that the players are patting him on the back is ridiculous, that’s his job', which finished off his critical summary of United's season. The Red Devils have still got a cup final left to play, the FA Cup against Manchester City, so we will find out if the Spaniard is in fact the man to bring trophies back to the Manchester side, despite what Keane said.
