Madrid back to work as Courtois could miss Leganes clash

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti led the busiest training session of the week on Thursday, with eight internationals back and only waiting for the three Brazilians -Vinicius, Rodrygo and Endrick- and Uruguay's Fede Valverde to return to training on Friday.
A return to work at the Valdebebas training complex that will serve to analyse the fitness of the four South American players, after having played their last matches with their national teams in the early hours of Tuesday to Wednesday.
Ancelotti gave them an extra day's rest as part of his plan to measure their efforts and physical exhaustion ahead of the final stretch of the season, and it will be Friday when he will outline their participation in Saturday's visit of Leganes to the Santiago Bernabeu.
And in this line he scheduled Thursday's session in the afternoon, in which 8 more players were incorporated: the Europeans and Brahim Diaz.
Mbappe, Camavinga and Tchouameni (France); Modric (Croatia); Rudiger (Germany), Arda Guler (Turkey), Alaba (Austria) and Brahim (Morocco) trained for the first time at Valdebebas after the international break and all returned without physical problems.
The absentees, apart from the long-term absences due to serious knee injuries suffered by Carvajal and Militao, were again Mendy, Ceballos and Courtois.
